Why Lemon

Orders don't lie. Pixels do.

A different starting point produces very different numbers.

Lemon

Order-based attribution

  • Reads the order record Shopify already keeps
  • Counts every order, including the ones a pixel never saw
  • Six attribution models over the same set of orders
  • Totals that reconcile with Shopify's own sales reports
  • Net of discounts, refunds and cancellations
  • Live carts and checkouts as shoppers move through them

Pixel-based analytics

GA4 and script-tag tools

  • Depends on a script surviving the browser
  • Loses whatever the browser blocked, with no way to tell how much
  • One model, chosen on your behalf
  • Figures that never quite match the admin
  • Gross revenue, with refunds quietly ignored
  • A session report about yesterday
FAQ

Get answers to the most commonly asked questions

Do I need to add any code to my store?

No. Lemon connects through Shopify's OAuth flow with read-only scopes. Nothing is injected into your theme, there is no snippet to paste, and your storefront speed is untouched.

How can it attribute orders without a tracking pixel?

Shopify already records the referring site, landing page and UTM parameters alongside every order. Lemon reads that first-party data and classifies each order into a channel using first-touch, last-touch and four other models, so there is no script for an ad blocker to stop.

How far back does the data go?

Your order history is imported when you connect, as far back as Shopify shares it with an app. From then on webhooks keep everything current, and new orders appear attributed within seconds.

Does it handle refunds and cancellations?

Yes. Revenue is net of discounts, refunds and cancellations, and the channel figures update as soon as a refund is issued, so what you see is what you kept.

Can I connect more than one store?

Yes. Connect each shop to the same account and switch between them, or read them together.

What does it cost?

Lemon is free. If paid plans arrive we will tell connected stores first, and billing will go through Shopify, so a charge appears on your Shopify invoice and can be declined there.
